We are very excited and thankful for our Central Regional Jarl Clay Ainsworth! His work has allowed our membership to download their genomic data and submit it to GEDmatch so that we can find out who among us are related. We are already finding matches for near-distant cousins, and beginning the search for our common ancestors in our family trees!

We are not just connected by our European nations of origin—we are families bound by blood. When we step into our sacred circles or gather around for sumbel, we are hailing some of the same ancestors. Their deeds and their legacy lives on in us today, motivating us to aim high and make them proud. The saga never ends!
