This custom-made calendar marks our ancestral holidays, as reckoned by the traditional lunisolar method. It also marks more contemporary holidays from both Europe and North America, whether they have explicit pagan roots, or are just another opportunity to honor our gods, ancestors, history, and culture. These include alternative holiday reckonings, Days of Remembrance for our Asatru heroes, anniversaries of historical events, and some civic holidays.
Each month features a collage of photos submitted by our very own Raven Folk United members, highlighting memories from the different seasons. There are also a few different names listed for each month, including the Old Norse, Old English, and Old German names. The final page shows the entirety of the year as a “wheel,” to help visualize the placement of the holidays, along with custom artwork.
